Description
BONDERITE M-NT 400 employs next-generation nanotechnology based on fluoro-zirconic acid. The mechanism involves the chemical deposition of a nano-scale zirconium oxide ($ZrO_2$) layer on the metal surface. This conversion layer forms a covalent bond with the metal substrate and provides a high surface area for organic coatings to anchor. It operates at ambient temperatures and produces virtually no sludge, significantly reducing the environmental footprint compared to conventional phosphating.
