Paint System (Layers)
After protecting the body internally with E-Coat, the stage is set for aesthetic appeal and exterior durability. Partnering with BASF Coatings, we offer an integrated Multi-Layer System designed to work in perfect harmony. This system is engineered to withstand the harshest environmental conditions in the Middle East while providing vibrant colors and enduring gloss, utilizing Waterborne technology to reduce carbon emissions.
Known as the intermediate layer, its primary function is to protect the E-Coat from UV radiation. Engineering-wise, it acts as a “shock absorber”; it possesses high elasticity to resist paint chipping caused by stone impacts (Stone-Chip Resistance). It also fills and levels any microscopic surface defects in the metal or E-Coat, ensuring a perfectly smooth surface ready for the basecoat.

I. Primer (Surfacer)

II. Basecoat
This is the layer that gives the vehicle its visual identity. MTI utilizes BASF Waterborne Basecoat technology. This technology features high-quality pigments that provide excellent hiding power with thin film thickness. It enables complex, attractive colors, including Metallic (containing aluminum flakes) and Pearlescent effects, all while maintaining significantly low VOC levels.

III. Clearcoat
The final layer and the vehicle’s protective shield. The clearcoat is a transparent, chemically hard layer that protects all underlying layers from external factors. We use advanced High Solid Clearcoats featuring exceptional Scratch Resistance against car washes and dust. They contain advanced UV Absorbers to prevent yellowing or cracking, along with excellent resistance to chemicals like bird droppings, acid rain, and fuel.
